Two of our most popular perennials with over 30 performances collectively at Humphrey’s, George Benson and Al Jarreau have been a major force in the world of contemporary and mainstream jazz. George Benson is known for his funk, soul-driven R&B and fluent jazz with favorites "Masquerade," "On Broadway" and "Breezin." Often imitated, but never duplicated, George Benson has set the standard for musicians who sing as well as they play their instrument. With songs like "We're In This Love Together," "Breakin' Away" and the TV theme from "Moonlighting,” Al Jarreau has been an international star since hitting the scene in the mid-70’s.
