6th@Penn Theatre presents Euripedes' "Medea," a classic tale of love, betrayal and revenge. Medea's family and kingdom meet fatal consequence when she betrays them for the visiting warrior Jason. Before long her new husband abandons her for the daughter of another kingdom. Medea makes sure he regrets it.
The intimate Hillcrest stage has a reputation for producing vivid and bone-chilling drama.
