It is Time for You and Me

To move beyond the distrust, self  hate and anticipated bigotry

It is Time for us to take control of our own future history

Past lessons  have been hard earned

But we have not taken heed

The foundation had been established

But our generation  has yet to take the lead.

Its Time for You and Me, A Great People Least We Forget

Its Time for Us To See Our Own Future History

And move forward to create  another great Legacy

All we need to do is to pool our talents and treasures collectively

Something we use to do quite well when we had no choice

But then we mistakenly thought we were free

With Integration only leading us to forget…..

 In essence,  we forgot how to strive in our own community

History is just that….. His story

It is not ours but that is OK.

Because like what  is is, what will be will be

So Now is the time to take charge of our own future

It is  Time to create our own Collective Better Destiny

Now is the Time to Rediscover Our Own Spirit of Community

Only Then Will It Be Time To Write Our Story!
